The Garnet Buttonhole Ring in Argentium Silver blends precision with warmth. Its low, open band allows air and light to move freely, while the rich red gemstone brings quiet strength and colour. The design feels balanced, bold, and comfortable for daily wear.
DESIGN & FEEL
The Buttonhole style is known for its clean profile and natural space beneath the band. I form each ring by hand, cutting and shaping Argentium 940 silver to create the signature opening. Because this Garnet is large, I scaled up the metal for balance and weight. The wide front gives strength, and the open section keeps it light and easy to wear.
ABOUT THE GARNET
This cabochon-cut Garnet weighs about 5.5 carats. It shows deep red tones with a smooth, glassy surface and fine polish. The bezel setting keeps the stone secure while drawing light across its curved top. The gem’s warmth contrasts beautifully with the cool shine of Argentium silver.

MAKING PROCESS
I shape, cut, and smooth each band before forming the signature buttonhole opening. Once the structure feels balanced, I make the bezel to fit the Garnet exactly. After polishing and heat-treating the silver, I set the stone by hand. The finished ring is strong yet refined — a modern classic with lasting presence.
