Sun and Moon Earrings – Argentium Silver
These Argentium Silver Sun and Moon Earrings bring together two celestial forms — the glowing sun and the quiet moon. I create each pair by shaping a hollow silver sun and tucking a lunar-textured crescent moon inside. The balance of the two shapes gives a sense of light and shadow, connection and contrast.
I make each earwire long and hand-formed, then hook it closed for a secure fit. The extended wire adds movement and complements the size of the earrings, giving them a graceful drop without feeling heavy. Because they are handmade, the texture of each moon and the curve of each sun vary slightly, which gives the piece a natural rhythm.

Materials & Care
Argentium 940 silver — hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and highly tarnish-resistant. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing to keep the surface bright.

I shape the sun’s circular frame from Argentium sheet, texture the moon by hand, and fit the two together before soldering. The final polish highlights both the soft texture of the moon and the mirror shine of the sun.
