Smoky Quartz Earrings – Large Boulder Panel – Argentium Silver – 36 Carat

These earrings make a strong natural statement. The 36-carat Smoky Quartz stones are IF-grade and cut in a clean checkerboard pattern. Because the stones are set in open prong settings, the light moves through easily and shows their depth. The silver boulder panels add a grounded, organic look.
Design & Feel
The rectangular stones sit above a solid Argentium silver boulder panel. I melted the silver edges to create a natural outline. As a result, the earrings feel earthy and bold. The prongs lift the gemstones so the facets stay bright and clear.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because these earrings are made with Argentium silver, I then heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This treatment raises hardness and increases tarnish resistance. After the treatment, I set the gemstones in their prong settings and give a final polish for clarity and shine.
About the Smoky Quartz
These stones are IF-grade and show clean clarity. The checkerboard cut gives strong reflections with every movement. The depth of colour pairs well with the organic silver panel. Therefore, the earrings look rich and grounded.
