The Argentium Silver Rapids Bangle Medium Antique captures the strength and turbulence of rushing water. I designed this piece to feel alive — full of waves, motion, and texture. The surface ripples with layered detail, like fast-moving white water over stone. Because of its wide form and solid weight, it feels substantial yet beautifully balanced on the wrist.
Design & feel
I start by shaping a thick strip of Argentium silver and melt the edges until they take on a natural, flowing outline. Next, I fuse raised waves and small silver pebbles across the surface to build energy and movement. After forming the bangle, I fuse the join so it remains strong and seamless. Finally, I apply the antique black finish, which deepens the contrast and brings every ripple and detail to life. The result is bold and highly textured — more turbulent than the softer Waves design, and meant to reflect the energy of water in motion.

This bangle is made from Argentium 940 silver, a bright, tarnish-resistant, nickel-free silver alloy. The antique finish is applied directly to solid Argentium and is permanent, so you’ll never need to polish it. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store in a dry place. I craft each Argentium Silver Rapids Bangle Medium Antique entirely by hand. I use fusing instead of soldering to create clean, durable joins. As the metal flows under heat, it forms waves and ridges that mimic white water in motion. Because I finish each piece individually, every bangle becomes a one-of-a-kind interpretation of strength, movement, and transformation.
