Amethyst Earrings – Argentium Silver – Twigs
These Argentium Silver Amethyst Earrings are part of the 🌿 LIFE Design Group — inspired by growth, layering, and natural structure. I bezel-set each faceted amethyst cabochon, then nestle it between two branch forms. Along those branches, I solder small piles of silver twigs to create texture and depth.
The amethyst sits securely at the centre, framed by organic lines that feel rooted and alive. Meanwhile, the twig detailing adds shadow and contrast, so the surface feels dimensional rather than flat. As light moves across the silver, the raised areas brighten while the recesses remain soft and quiet.
Each pair is handmade and individually finished. I also form the earwires by hand from Argentium silver, so they are always nickel-free and comfortable for sensitive ears.

Design & Feel
These earrings are bold and expressive. The long drop creates movement, while the twig structure keeps them grounded. The combination of gemstone and texture gives them a strong natural presence.

Learn More (Making Process)
I bezel-set each amethyst first, then shape and solder the surrounding branches. After adding layered twig details, I refine the surface and polish the highlights to enhance depth and contrast.
