DESIGN & FEEL
Each Bark band begins with fine strips of Argentium 940 silver. I fuse and shape them to create the layered texture of tree bark — a pattern that looks rough but feels smooth on the hand. The wide band sits evenly, and the bezel setting keeps the gemstone secure while highlighting the surface pattern.
ABOUT THE RUTILE QUARTZ
This oval cabochon Rutile Quartz reveals fine golden inclusions suspended in clear stone. Each strand of rutile catches light differently, creating a soft shimmer through the gem. Set in a smooth bezel, it stands as a warm contrast to the cool silver beneath it.

MAKING PROCESS
I form and fuse layers of silver to build the Bark pattern, shaping the surface by hand to create texture and rhythm. After polishing and refining, I set the Rutile Quartz to catch light through its golden strands. The finished ring feels rooted and alive — nature captured in silver and stone.
