I form two square Argentium bands and shape the space between them to hold the gemstone. The double-band design keeps the ring steady on the hand, and the hammered surface adds a bright, shifting pattern. Because the front is wide and the back tapers, the ring feels balanced and comfortable.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I then heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This treatment raises hardness and slows tarnish. After the heat work, I set the gemstone and polish the surface for clarity and shine.

This natural Smoky Quartz is 14.5 carats in a clean rectangle cut. The stone shows deep warm tones with soft flashes of light. Smoky Quartz is linked to grounding, strength, and steady energy.
