I form the Book design from Argentium 940 silver, shaping the band with crisp, squared edges that mirror the pages of a book. The form is minimal yet bold — a solid statement piece that’s comfortable for everyday wear. The bright silver finish enhances the colour play of the opal while maintaining a timeless, architectural feel.
About the stone
This natural Ethiopian Opal (1 carat) displays vivid flashes of colour that shift in the light. Each stone is unique, with changing tones of blue, green, and orange that make the ring truly one-of-a-kind. The bezel setting provides full protection and a seamless transition between stone and silver.

Materials & care
Made from Argentium 940 silver — bright, tarnish-resistant, and nickel-free. I heat-harden the metal before setting the stone, bringing the germanium to the surface for extra durability and shine. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store dry to preserve the opal’s brilliance.

Learn more (making process)
Each ring begins with solid Argentium sheet, carefully measured and cut. I form the band to create a standing “spine” profile that gives the piece its book-like shape. After soldering and refining, I polish the surfaces to a mirror finish, then build and attach the custom bezel for the opal. The ring is heat-treated, polished again, and the opal is finally set by hand for a secure, lasting fit.
