Rapids Pendant – Argentium Silver Marquise
This pendant is handmade in Argentium Silver 940. I create the rapids surface by melting pieces of silver together. As the metal flows, natural ridges and valleys form. Therefore, the texture feels dynamic and alive. I then shape the piece into a clean marquise form.
This is the most turbulent of the WATER designs. The raised ripples catch the light, while the deeper channels add contrast. As a result, the pendant feels energetic and fluid.
An 18″ Sterling Silver twisted box chain is included.
Design & Feel
The marquise shape creates a strong vertical line. Meanwhile, the rapids texture adds motion and intensity. This contrast brings structure and movement together.

Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.

I form this design by melting and moving the silver surface until the rapids texture develops. After shaping the marquise outline, I refine the edges and polish the raised areas to highlight the movement.
