Half Sun and Moon Pendant – Argentium Silver
Description
This Half Sun and Moon Pendant is handmade in solid Argentium silver. I melt the silver and form it into a textured moon, then add a polished sun frame around it. The contrast between the bright frame and the soft lunar surface gives the pendant a balanced, celestial feel.
Design & Feel
The design combines strength and delicacy. The flowing edges of the moon meet the clean lines of the sun, creating a pendant that feels calm yet radiant. It’s light in weight and comfortable for everyday wear.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the silver to form the germanium oxide layer that strengthens Argentium silver and resists tarnish. Afterward, I polish the raised areas while keeping the lunar texture visible.
