Waves Pendant – Argentium Silver Long Rectangle – Antique
I form this pendant in solid Argentium Silver 940. First, I melt and texture the surface to create natural wave movement. Then I shape the silver into a long rectangular panel. The edges remain clean, while the surface holds fluid motion. Finally, I apply an antique finish to both the pendant and the chain so they match.
Because the texture forms while the silver is molten, each piece develops subtle variation. Therefore, light settles into the recessed areas. As a result, the darker tones deepen the sense of movement. Although the form is narrow, the length gives it presence.
Design & Feel
This pendant feels fluid yet refined. The elongated line draws the eye downward. Meanwhile, the wave texture introduces rhythm. Because of the antique finish, contrast becomes more defined. It reflects the balanced flow of the WATER collection.

I melt and texture the silver before refining the rectangular form. Then I solder the bail and prepare the surface. After heat-treating the piece to increase hardness and improve tarnish resistance, I deepen the antique finish for contrast.
