Amethyst Pendant – Argentium Silver Waves – 35 Carats
Description
This Amethyst Pendant features a large, natural gemstone held within the flowing lines of the Waves design. I shape solid Argentium silver into curved bars that surround and protect the gemstone. The chain passes through these bars, keeping the pendant balanced and stable when worn. The open structure allows light to reach the stone from every angle, bringing out the full colour and depth of the Amethyst.
Design & Feel
The Waves design draws its shape from moving water. Each silver curve bends smoothly around the gemstone, giving both strength and softness to the form. The large 35-carat Amethyst sits high within the setting, where the light reflects through its facets. This design feels bold yet fluid, with a balance of weight and movement that makes it comfortable to wear.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the pendant to activate the germanium oxide layer that defines Argentium 940 silver. This process strengthens the surface and increases tarnish resistance. Afterward, I polish the raised edges and leave the gentle textures visible, so the pendant keeps a bright but natural shine.
