Citrine Earrings – Argentium Silver Sail Over Sun
A hollow Argentium silver sun sits beneath a large silver sail. I form and solder each element by hand. Then I texture the sail using lace to create layered surface detail.
The sail arches over the open sun form. As a result, the earrings feel expansive and vertical. A long faceted natural citrine drop hangs below, adding warmth and light. Handmade, nickel-free Argentium silver earwires support the elongated silhouette.
The contrast between open circle and solid sail creates depth. Meanwhile, the citrine introduces golden brightness. If you’d like to explore similar forming and texturing techniques, visit my

I cut and shape the hollow sun first. Then I form and texture the sail before soldering the layers together and securing the citrine drop.
