Garnet Earrings – Argentium Silver – Hollow Teardrop
These garnet hollow teardrop earrings follow a flowing WATER design. The open form and hammered surface create movement and light.
I cut the teardrop shape from a solid sheet of Argentium silver. Then I form the hollow structure and add the cut-out detail. After that, I hand hammer the surface to create texture. Finally, I set a natural garnet teardrop and polish the piece to a bright finish. Because of this process, every pair is one of a kind.
As the earrings move, the open shape catches the light. At the same time, the hammered surface adds depth and reflection. Therefore, they feel fluid while staying balanced.
