Amethyst Earrings – Argentium Silver – Teardrop Waves – Antique
These Teardrop Waves earrings are formed from solid Argentium silver and finished with a permanent antique patina. Flowing wave lines move through the teardrop shape, creating depth and shadow. A natural Amethyst adds rich purple contrast against the darkened silver. I cut, shape, and solder each element by hand. Handmade Argentium silver earwires are nickel-free.
Light settles into the recessed wave lines, while the raised surfaces remain bright. As a result, the texture becomes more pronounced. Although the design carries strong movement, the teardrop form keeps it balanced and wearable.

Design & Feel
The Water design group reflects motion and change. The teardrop shape suggests flow, while the antique finish adds contrast and depth. Together, they create a bold yet refined presence.

Materials & Care
Argentium 935 silver is a high-quality silver alloy that includes a small amount of germanium. Because of this addition, it is whiter, harder, and slower to tarnish than traditional sterling. It is always nickel-free. The antique finish is permanent and never needs polishing. A soft cloth is sufficient for care.

I cut the teardrop forms from solid silver sheet and create the wave texture by hand. Then I solder the components and refine the surface. After applying the antique finish, I set the Amethyst and attach the earwires.
