Freeform Circle Earrings – Argentium Silver – Sun Accent
These Freeform Circle Earrings – Argentium Silver – Sun Accent feature a large textured hollow boulder with an engraved sun suspended in the centre. I form the circular frame first by layering and fusing Argentium wire into an irregular open shape.
After refining the boulder texture, I engrave the solid sun and suspend it within the centre of the circle. As a result, the open form surrounds a focused point of detail. The contrast between hollow structure and solid centre creates depth and balance.
The generous amount of silver gives these earrings presence and weight. Meanwhile, the suspended sun allows subtle internal movement within the grounded outer frame.
