Bark Cuff – Argentium Silver – Medium (6.1 cm) Polished

First, I cut a strip of Argentium silver to the cuff width I plan to make. Then I fuse layers of cut Argentium silver wire onto that sheet, repeating the layering and fusing until the surface reads like bark. I clean and shape the ends, form the strip into a smooth oval, and refine the edges for comfort. Finally, I polish the high points so they catch the light, and work-harden the silver for strength. Because every step is done by hand, each cuff has its own character.
What is a cuff bracelet?
A cuff is a stiff oval with a small side opening that slides on from the narrow side of your wrist. It should feel snug—like a second skin—with very little movement once on. To protect the shape, slide it on sideways; don’t pry the ends open.

Materials & care
Argentium silver (940) includes a touch of germanium, so it stays bright, hard, and tarnish-resistant. It’s always nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Clean with mild soap and water, pat dry with a soft cloth, and store separately to protect the relief.
