💧 WATER * I Change * FLOWING FORMLESSNESS – Transformative – Playful – Balanced – Passionate
The Argentium Silver Rapids Bangles – Antique Finish capture the wild movement of rushing water. I melt small pieces of Argentium silver until they flow together, forming a natural rapids pattern full of texture and light. The surface ripples and twists like white water over rock, creating depth and energy in every curve. Each bangle is polished, tumbled, and then finished with a dark antique patina to highlight the raised details.
Design & feel
I start with separate bits of Argentium silver and melt them into a single, fluid surface. Then I fuse silver wire along both edges to create a smooth, framed outline that feels comfortable on the wrist. After shaping and polishing, I tumble each piece for strength and a soft sheen. Finally, I apply the antique finish, which becomes part of the silver itself. This finish is permanent and never needs polishing. The result is a bracelet that feels solid and expressive — a bold reflection of moving water.

Materials & care
I make these bangles from Argentium 940 silver, a bright, tarnish-resistant, nickel-free alloy. The antique black finish is applied to solid Argentium and is permanent, so you never have to polish it. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store in a dry place. Learn more (making process)
Every Argentium Silver Rapids Bangle is created through melting and fusing rather than soldering. This process strengthens the form and keeps the surface clean and sculptural. The antique finish enhances the peaks and shadows, emphasizing the flow and turbulence that define the Rapids design — the most dynamic of all Water pieces
