Freeform Circle Necklace – Textured – Argentium Silver
Description
This Textured Freeform Circle Necklace is a sculptural piece made from solid Argentium silver. I shape the silver into natural, uneven circles — each one slightly different — and fuse them together by hand. The result is a necklace with soft edges, quiet strength, and organic rhythm.
Design & Feel
Each freeform circle has its own surface detail, lightly textured to catch the light. The links move easily, sitting smoothly on the neckline. Between the hollow circles, handmade Argentium chain links connect the design into a continuous flow. The overall look is refined yet natural — equally at home with casual or formal wear.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat each section to activate the germanium oxide layer that strengthens Argentium silver. This process increases hardness and prevents quick tarnish. Afterward, I texture and polish the surfaces by hand, keeping the character of the fused silver while adding a soft white glow unique to Argentium.
