🔨 STRUCTURE DESIGN
I build this double-band ring from two round Argentium silver bands with a hammered texture. Between them, I set a large oval amethyst in a smooth bezel. The stone sits securely while the open space between the bands gives the design strength and clarity.

Each ring is made by hand. As a result, the hammer marks and spacing vary slightly, making every piece individual.

Design & Feel
The double-band structure feels bold and deliberate. At the same time, the hammered texture softens the form and adds light play. Together, these elements create a strong ring with balanced weight and presence.

Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I then heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This treatment raises hardness and slows tarnish. After the heat work, I set the gemstone and give a final polish for clarity and shine.

About the Stone
Amethyst is known for its rich purple colour and calm energy. In addition, its depth contrasts beautifully with bright silver. I selected this stone for its size, colour, and visual strength.

Fit & Sizing
This ring is a size 12.75. The double-band form spreads weight across the finger, which helps with comfort. However, wider rings can feel different than narrow bands.

I form the two bands first and apply the hammered texture by hand. Next, I build the bezel and position the amethyst between the bands. After that, I heat-treat the silver, set the stone, and polish the ring for a clean finish.
