🔨 STRUCTURE DESIGN

I build the Square Box band with four defined corners and supporting braces to hold the shape. The texture has light hammering, which softens the lines without losing structure. The round bezel sits between the square pegs, creating a clear mix of curves and angles. Because the width stays the same all the way around, the ring feels steady on the hand.

Argentium Heat & Finish

Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I then heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This treatment raises hardness and slows tarnish. After the heat work, I set the stone in the bezel and polish the ring for clarity and shine.

I form the Square Box shape, add the corner braces, and refine each edge. Then I hammer the surface lightly for texture. After shaping and smoothing the interior, I heat-harden the ring, build the bezel, set the London Blue Topaz, and polish the final form.
