Design & Feel – Ethiopian Opal Argentium Silver Ring
Each Circle D-Band ring starts with a wide strip of Argentium 940 silver. I form the D-shaped curve, fuse it to a flat sheet, and then add a circular layer inside the form. This creates a double-thick band that feels strong and smooth on the hand. Because the band is wider at the front and gently narrows toward the back, it sits comfortably and remains well-balanced.
About the Ethiopian Opal
This 2-carat round cabochon Ethiopian Opal has vivid colour play and excellent clarity. It’s a solid gemstone, not a doublet or triplet, allowing the natural hues to shift and shimmer with every movement. The bezel mount protects the stone while showing off its full glow.

I form and fuse each section of silver to create the Circle D-Band shape, layering metal for strength and symmetry. After polishing and refining, I bezel-set the Opal to let its colour flash across the silver surface. The result is bold, balanced, and quietly radiant.
