Lunar Rectangle Pendant – Argentium Silver – Wide – Antique
Description
This Lunar wide rectangle pendant is shaped by hand from solid Argentium silver. I melt the silver to a precise softness and then work the surface with a pick. As I shape the metal, a cratered texture forms that echoes the surface of the Moon. Because I make each pendant individually, every piece carries its own subtle variation.
Design & Feel
The wider rectangular form gives this pendant a strong, grounded presence. At the same time, the Lunar texture adds depth and gentle movement. The antique finish settles into the surface detail and emphasizes the moon-like character. As a result, the pendant feels calm, substantial, and quietly expressive. It sits comfortably and works well as an everyday statement piece.
Argentium Heat & Finish
After shaping the Lunar texture, I heat-treat the pendant to activate the germanium oxide layer in Argentium silver. This step increases hardness and slows tarnish. I then apply a permanent antique finish. It never needs polishing and only requires an occasional wipe with a soft cloth.

Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.
