Description
This Amethyst Pendant features a 1-carat gemstone set in a smooth bezel surrounded by softly fused granules of Argentium silver. Each granule is formed and placed by hand, then joined together under heat to create a natural, textured surface. The silver granules catch light from every angle and frame the Amethyst with gentle contrast.
Design & Feel
The Granules design captures the feeling of weathered rock and calm balance. The small rounded shapes build into an organic form that feels both delicate and strong. The Amethyst brings a vivid violet glow that stands out against the cool tone of Argentium silver. Each pendant forms slightly differently as the granules fuse, so no two pieces are identical.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the pendant to form the germanium oxide layer that defines Argentium 940. This process strengthens the surface and increases tarnish resistance. The finish remains bright and stable with very little care — a soft cloth is all that’s needed to maintain its shine.
