Rapids Pendant – Argentium Silver – Antique
This pendant features the Rapids design, the most turbulent of the WATER collection. I create the surface by melting and moving the silver until ridges and valleys form naturally. Therefore, the texture feels full of motion. As a result, the pendant carries energy and depth.
This version has a permanent antique finish. The matching 18″ Sterling Silver twisted box chain also has an antique finish.
Design & Feel
The compact shape creates a strong presence. Meanwhile, the rapids texture adds movement across the surface. This contrast gives the piece structure and intensity. Because the darkened areas settle into the recesses, the raised lines stand out clearly.

Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.

I form this design by melting the surface of the silver and shaping it with a steel pick. Once the rapids texture develops, I refine the edges and deepen the antique contrast.
The antique finish is permanent and never needs polishing.
