Freeform Circle Pendant – Argentium Silver, Copper, and Brass – Large
Description
This Freeform Circle Pendant combines solid copper, brass, and Argentium silver wires shaped into organic, boulder-like circles. I link the metals together loosely, allowing movement and light between them. When the structure feels balanced, I melt Argentium silver across the joins to create permanent, but flexible, connections. The result is a strong, sculptural pendant with natural flow and texture.
Design & Feel
Each metal brings its own tone and energy — copper adds warmth, brass gives a golden glow, and Argentium silver brightens everything around it. Together, they create soft movement and contrast. Because the links remain slightly open, the pendant shifts gently when worn, catching light from all directions. Every piece turns out different, depending on how the molten silver moves during fusing.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the Argentium silver to activate its germanium oxide layer, increasing strength and tarnish resistance. Afterward, I polish the high points to highlight shine and leave some natural texture to preserve the hand-forged look.

Materials & Care
Made from Argentium 940 silver, solid copper, and brass. Over time, copper and brass naturally develop patina. You can refresh them with a soft cloth or fresh lime. Do not polish sealed or patinated surfaces.
