This is a Buttonhole design ring, with the gemstone tucked into the ‘buttonhole’ made by the Argentium silver.  This is a 2.5 carat round checkerboard cut Garnet.

Ring size is 11.5

The ring is 1.8 cm wide in the front and 0.7 cm wide in the back.  The weight is 10.5 grams.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935.  It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added.  Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish.  And it is always nickel-free.
