Design & feel
The Buttonhole ring remains one of our most popular designs because it feels strong and natural on the hand. I shape each one in Argentium 940 silver for clarity and brightness. The front edge widens slightly to give visual weight, while the inner curve stays smooth for comfort. As a result, it balances strength with movement.
About the stone
This 2 carat Amethyst glows with a clear purple hue and even sparkle. Because its cut allows light to travel easily through the gem, each movement reveals flashes of colour. The pairing of silver and stone forms a bold but simple statement that fits daily wear.

Each Buttonhole ring begins as a single band of Argentium silver. I form, fuse, and hammer the loop that holds the gemstone. Then I heat-treat the silver to activate the germanium layer, which improves brightness and resistance. Finally, I set the Amethyst securely and polish the surface so light glides across every curve.
