🔨 STRUCTURE DESIGN
The Pietersite Double Band Ring in Argentium Silver pairs strength with fluid movement. Its twin rounded bands give balance and support to the large gemstone, while the deep navy tones of the Pietersite swirl with natural light. This design feels solid, sculptural, and comfortable for its size.
DESIGN & FEEL
Each ring begins with two solid Argentium 940 silver bands. I fuse them together at the back, keeping the inner curve narrow for ease of wear. The bezel setting is then soldered to the top, creating a broad base that holds the gemstone securely. The double-band form distributes weight evenly, preventing spin and adding a refined sense of balance.
ABOUT THE PIETERSITE
This natural Pietersite is freeform cabochon cut, showing rich navy blue with golden and silver bands that shift under light. The gemstone’s swirling pattern is unique to each piece, giving it the look of a captured storm. Its depth and movement make it both striking and timeless.

MAKING PROCESS
I shape two silver bands, fuse them carefully at the back, and refine the joint until seamless. After preparing the bezel to fit the freeform gemstone, I solder it in place and polish the surface to a bright finish. The final result feels architectural yet fluid — strong lines balanced by the movement of stone and light.
