Formed in the Waves design, this ring captures the rhythm of moving water in solid silver. I melt and shape Argentium 940 silver into soft, organic curves that crest and taper like ripples in a stream. The interior is smoothly polished for ease, and the wide front narrows toward the back for balance. With a permanent antique finish.
About the stone
This 2.4 carat Ruby is completely natural and semi-precious, with visible inclusions that add depth and uniqueness. The stone’s vibrant red hue stands out beautifully against the cool brightness of Argentium silver. The brilliant cut enhances its lively sparkle, even with the stone’s opaque quality, making it warm and bold in tone.

Each Waves ring is hand-forged, fused, and refined in my Creston, BC studio. After forming, the Argentium is heat-treated to activate the germanium layer for lasting brightness and tarnish resistance. The Ruby is then bezel-set, and the surface polished to highlight the natural flow of silver around the stone.
