🔨 STRUCTURE * I Know * CLEAN LINES AND ANGLES – Inventive – Powerful – Bold – Connective
The Hawk’s Eye Argentium Cuff blends a deep, blue shimmer with crisp, modern lines. Hawk’s Eye is the naturally occurring blue form of Tiger’s Eye. In certain light, warm brown bands appear and the stone seems to move. Paired with bright Argentium silver, the cuff looks bold, refined, and easy to wear.
Design & feel
First, I fuse two bands of square Argentium silver wire. Next, I curve them into a fluid profile and build a bezel to fit the stone exactly. Then I solder the setting at centre and refine each edge. The polished finish throws light across the metal and the gem. As a result, the bracelet reads strong from a distance and shows depth up close.
About the stone
Hawk’s Eye (blue Tiger’s Eye) shows silky, blue-grey chatoyancy with occasional golden-brown flashes. Because each stone forms in nature, every cuff is one-of-a-kind. In addition, this palette pairs beautifully with denim, navy, grey, and black.

Materials & care
Argentium Silver (940) includes a touch of germanium, so it stays bright, hard, and slow to tarnish. It is always nickel-free and hypoallergenic. For patinated pieces, rinse with mild soap and water, pat dry with a soft cloth, and avoid harsh dips or ultrasonic cleaners that can strip the finish.

First, I select a well-cut Hawk’s Eye cabochon. Next, I shape a bezel wall, solder it to a backplate, and test the fit until it seats perfectly. Then I cut and fuse the cuff wires, form them to hold the bezel, and join the assembly with clean solder seams. After that, I polish and tumble the bracelet for strength. Also, I heat-treat the Argentium to draw germanium to the surface; as a result, the finish resists tarnish. Finally, I set the stone by folding the bezel edge and give the cuff a mirror polish.

A final polish to smooth out the bezel edge and make the silver ‘mirror finish’ shiny, and the bracelet is ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
