🔨 STRUCTURE * I Know * CLEAN LINES AND ANGLES – Inventive – Powerful – Bold – Connective
The Hawk’s Eye Argentium Cuff blends a moody blue shimmer with crisp, architectural lines. Hawk’s Eye is the naturally occurring blue form of Tiger’s Eye. In some light, warm brown bands appear, so the gem shifts and moves as you turn your wrist. Paired with bright Argentium silver, the bracelet looks bold, modern, and easy to wear every day.
Design & feel
First, I fuse two bands of square Argentium silver wire. Next, I curve them into a clean, fluid profile and shape a hand-built bezel at centre. Then I solder the setting in place and refine every edge. The polished finish throws light across both metal and stone. As a result, the cuff reads strong from a distance, yet shows depth and motion up close.
About the stone
Hawk’s Eye (blue Tiger’s Eye) shows silky, blue-grey chatoyancy. However, you may also notice golden-brown flashes at certain angles. Because each stone forms in nature, no two cuffs look exactly the same. In addition, the palette pairs beautifully with denim, navy, grey, and black.

Materials & care
Argentium Silver (940) includes a touch of germanium, so it stays bright, hard, and slow to tarnish. It is always nickel-free and hypoallergenic. For patinated pieces, rinse with mild soap and water, pat dry with a soft cloth, and avoid harsh dips or ultrasonic cleaners that can strip the finish.
Learn more (making process)
First, I select a well-cut Hawk’s Eye cabochon. Next, I shape a bezel wall, solder it to a backplate, and test the fit until it seats perfectly. Then I cut and fuse the cuff wires, form them to hold the bezel, and join the assembly with clean solder seams. After that, I polish and tumble the bracelet for strength. Also, I heat-treat the Argentium to draw germanium to the surface; as a result, the finish resists tarnish. Finally, I set the stone by folding the bezel edge and give the cuff a mirror polish.
