Tourmaline Ring – Size 6.75 – Argentium Silver Wax Seal – 2 Carat
Design & Feel
This Blue Tourmaline ring belongs to the Land Collection and reflects grounded strength. I shape two smooth Argentium silver bands that rise into a sculpted wax-seal top. The form feels steady and balanced, while the weight gives it presence. At the centre, a vivid blue tourmaline adds depth and contrast.
About the Stone
Blue tourmaline, also known as indicolite, shows tones of ocean blue and cool teal. As light moves across the surface, the colour shifts from water blue to soft sea green. The stone weighs 2 carat and is natural. Therefore, each gem carries slight variation and individual character.
About the Wax Seal Design
I begin each wax-seal top with solid Argentium silver. I heat the metal until it softens, then guide the surface with a jeweller’s pick to create organic movement. Because I fuse the silver rather than solder it, the structure becomes seamless and strong. The finished texture feels smooth in some areas and rugged in others, echoing natural stone.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This treatment raises hardness and improves tarnish resistance. After heat treatment, I set the gemstone and polish the ring to a bright finish.

Learn More (Making Process)
First, I form and fuse the double bands. Then I sculpt the wax-seal top while the silver remains hot. After shaping, I bezel-set the tourmaline by hand. Finally, I refine the edges and polish the ring until metal and gemstone reflect light together.
