Design & Feel
Each ring begins as solid Argentium 940 silver, heated until the surface softens and moves like liquid. Using a jeweller’s pick, I shape the metal to create the organic, ancient feel of a wax seal. The Twigs band supports the form with natural strength and quiet texture. Fused rather than soldered, the join is seamless and enduring.
About the Blue Tourmaline
This gemstone is a natural, untreated Blue Tourmaline weighing 1.5 carats. Cut in a rectangular rose-cut style — a facetted cabochon with a flat back — it catches light from every angle. The deep blue tone balances the bright silver, evoking water and sky within stone.

I start each Wax Seal top from solid silver, melting and guiding the surface until it finds a natural rhythm. The band is formed from fused silver twigs, each joined without solder. The result is a strong, textural piece that carries a sense of age and landscape.
