Aquamarine Pendant – Argentium Silver Twig Collar – 30 Carats
Description
This Aquamarine Pendant features a large 30-carat teardrop cabochon framed within the Twig design. I fuse and layer branches of Argentium silver to build the frame, then add smaller twigs for texture and movement. The design feels natural and rooted, reminiscent of a pile of forest twigs gathered in light.
Design & Feel
Each silver branch joins in an organic pattern that balances structure and openness. The Aquamarine’s soft blue tone glows against the bright silver, adding calm to the intricate surface. The handmade chain continues the same detail, with small twig clusters connecting each large link. The pendant is solid but comfortable to wear, with gentle motion in every link.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the silver to activate the germanium oxide layer that defines Argentium 940. This process strengthens the surface and slows tarnish. After fusing and assembly, I polish the raised twigs and leave the inner textures softer to catch natural light and shadow.
