Amethyst Ring – Size 11.25 – Argentium Silver River Design – 15.25 Carat
This River design ring is bold, heavy, and sculptural. It is built to support a very large gemstone while remaining wearable.
💧 WATER DESIGN
I handcraft this River design ring from solid Argentium silver. The band flows with deep dips and valleys, much like moving water. Because of this, the silver feels strong and alive. At the center, I prong-set a large amethyst so the stone sits high and secure.
This is an extremely heavy ring. As a result, the silver has real presence on the hand.
Design & Feel
The River design feels bold and grounded. At the same time, the wide front supports the gemstone. However, the band narrows at the back, which improves comfort. Therefore, the ring rests evenly and wears well despite its size. The polished surface reflects light across every curve and enhances the stone’s fire.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This step raises hardness and slows tarnish. Afterward, I set the gemstone and polish the ring for clarity and shine.
About the Stone
This amethyst shows deep purple colour with excellent clarity. In addition, the bold cut captures light from many angles. As a result, the stone brings strong colour and focus to the flowing silver form.
Fit & Sizing
This ring is a size 11.25 and fits true to size. The River profile rests evenly on the hand. However, wide sculptural rings can feel different than narrow bands.

Learn More (Making Process)
I shape the River form first and create the deep curves by hand. Next, I heat-treat the silver for strength. Then, I set the amethyst and polish the ring to a bright finish.
