Square Fused Waves – Earrings or Pendant – Argentium Silver
I cut each diamond-shaped form from solid Argentium Silver 940. Then I apply a sand texture to create depth across the surface. After that, I solder flowing wave elements over the textured base. Finally, I cut a clean opening in the centre to introduce light and contrast.
The layered waves move across the square frame with strength and direction. As a result, the open centre softens the geometry. Moreover, the contrast between texture and smooth edges creates balance. Small earrings are finished with long ear wires. Large earrings feature a soldered U-shaped ear wire. The pendant includes an 18″ sterling silver twisted box chain.
Design & Feel
This design is bold and architectural. The square frame creates structure and rhythm. In contrast, the wave lines introduce motion and flow. Therefore, the piece reflects clarity and strength within the STRUCTURE collection.

Materials & Care
This piece is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.

Learn More (Making Process)
I cut the base forms from heavy silver sheet. Then I apply the sand texture and refine the edges. After that, I solder the wave elements in place and pierce the centre opening. Finally, I heat-treat the piece to increase strength and improve tarnish resistance.
