Amethyst Pendant – Argentium Silver Granules – 1 Carat
Description
This Amethyst pendant features a one-carat gemstone set in a smooth bezel. Softly fused Argentium silver granules surround the stone. I form and place each granule by hand, then join them under heat. As a result, the surface feels natural and lightly textured. The granules catch light from many angles and gently frame the amethyst.
Design & Feel
The Granules design reflects the look of weathered stone and quiet balance. Small rounded forms build into an organic shape that feels delicate yet strong. The amethyst adds a clear violet glow that contrasts with the cool tone of Argentium silver. Because the granules fuse freely, each pendant develops its own subtle variation.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the pendant to activate the germanium oxide layer in Argentium 940. This step strengthens the silver and improves tarnish resistance. Afterward, I refine the surface to a bright, stable finish that needs only an occasional wipe with a soft cloth.

Materials & Care
