Design & Feel — Amethyst Square Double-Band Ring
I handcraft each Amethyst ring in Argentium 940 silver. First, I form two square bands. Then I solder them and add a small brace at the back. The brace gives strength and helps the ring sit securely on the hand. It also leaves space between the bands so the large stone can rest between them. After that, I polish the top to a mirror finish. I also hammer the sides to add a bright, lively texture.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I heat-treat it to activate the germanium oxide layer. This step hardens the metal and improves tarnish resistance. After heating, I set the Amethyst in the bezel. Then I polish the surface again so it stays clear and bright.
About the Amethyst
This Amethyst weighs 6.25 carats and has a rectangular cut. The stone shows deep purple tones with flashes of lavender. When light moves across the facets, it reflects evenly. The colour adds calm energy and strength to the design.

Making Process
Each square double-band ring begins with shaped Argentium silver. I solder and smooth the bands. Then I join them with a brace for balance. Next, I heat-treat the silver and set the Amethyst. Finally, I polish every surface until the light moves evenly across the metal. Because each ring is handmade, no two are ever the same.
