Description
This Amethyst Pendant features a forest of fine silver twigs surrounding a faceted oval gemstone. I hand-form each twig from solid Argentium silver and join them together to create a natural, growing pattern. The Amethyst sits securely among the branches, where the silver catches the light and frames the stone’s deep violet tone.
Design & Feel
The Twig Collar design reflects growth and movement. Each branch flows outward, giving the pendant depth and texture. The Amethyst adds a calm centre point, balancing the organic form. The piece feels light to wear but strong in structure, with a gentle curve that follows the neckline.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the silver to create the germanium oxide layer that defines Argentium 940. This layer strengthens the metal and keeps it bright. The finish stays smooth and clean with only a light cloth needed for care.
