Amethyst Earrings – Twig – Argentium Silver
These Amethyst twig earrings follow a LIFE design. Substantial Argentium silver twigs surround rich purple faceted Amethyst, combining an organic silver structure with the colour and sparkle of natural gemstone.
I form Argentium silver wire into the twig design, adding and fusing individual pieces to build the organic pattern. Each oval Amethyst is bezel set into the silver. The open twig structure allows light and movement around the gemstones, while the substantial silver gives the earrings a strong presence.
The Amethyst gemstones have a very good purple colour and a combined weight of 17.5 carats. Their faceted surfaces catch the light beautifully and create a striking contrast against the natural lines of the silver twigs. Because each pair is handmade and the gemstones are natural, every pair is unique.

I arrange pieces of Argentium silver wire into an organic twig pattern, adding more twigs as I fuse to complete the design. I bezel set the faceted oval Amethyst, then refine and finish each earring by hand.
