Ametrine Earrings – Argentium Silver V Bail
These V Bail earrings are formed from solid Argentium silver. I hand hammer the V-shaped bail to create texture and strength. Then I shape the earwires from the same solid silver for balance and durability. A natural Ametrine teardrop hangs below and adds striking colour contrast. All elements are cut, formed, and soldered by hand. The earwires are nickel-free.
The Ametrine gemstone carries both purple and golden tones. Because Amethyst and Citrine form together in the same geode, the stone shows two natural colours in one crystal. As the earrings move, the colour shifts between violet and warm yellow. Meanwhile, the clean V shape creates structure and clarity.

Design & Feel
The V form reflects the STRUCTURE design group. Sharp lines create strength and direction, while the gemstone adds fluidity and light. Together, they form a bold and balanced design.

Learn More (Making Process)
I cut and hammer the V bail from solid silver sheet. Then I solder the structure and refine the edges. After setting the Ametrine, I polish the earrings and form the earwires.
