Azurite-Malachite-Chrysocolla Pendant – Argentium Silver – 32.5 Carats
Description
This Azurite-Malachite-Chrysocolla Pendant features a 32.5-carat geometric cabochon cut in a tombstone shape. The gemstone combines rich blues and greens that flow together in natural mineral patterns. I built the pendant in the Arched Cross design with a solid Argentium silver frame and a smooth tube bail for clean balance.
Design & Feel
The geometric shape pairs with the structured silver lines to create a strong, architectural feel. The stone’s organic surface contrasts with the precise metalwork, showing both colour and form clearly. The pendant hangs evenly from the tube bail, giving it a refined, modern presence that still feels grounded.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the pendant to form the germanium oxide layer that defines Argentium 940. This strengthens the silver and slows tarnish. After assembly, I polish the raised surfaces and leave the recessed areas slightly matte to keep depth and contrast.
