I craft the Argentium Silver Bark Bangle XLarge 7.1 cm by flattening, texturing, and fusing 16–20 ga silver wire to build a raised bark relief. After that, I form the circle true, polish the surface to a bright sheen, and work-harden the metal for strength. Because every step happens by hand in my BC studio, each bangle has its own character.
Design & feel
The layered ridges echo tree bark; the valleys add depth. Consequently, light plays across the surface while the profile remains smooth on your wrist. Also, the true circular form lets you stack this bangle cleanly with other pieces, so you can build texture without bulk.
