Bark Ring – Size 11.75 – Argentium Silver
🌿 LIFE DESIGN
This ring is built from wire and heat. I fuse square, round, and twisted Argentium silver wires together until they form a bark-like surface. Then I bend the fused strip into a circle and fuse the ends to create a solid band. The process stays direct and physical, guided by texture and structure.
Design & Feel
The mixed wires create depth and strong visual rhythm. I hammer and shape the band to refine the form, while the surface keeps its rugged character. The front feels bold and expressive. Meanwhile, the back tapers for balance and comfort. The ring feels powerful, grounded, and unmistakably hand-built.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I then heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This treatment raises hardness and slows tarnish. After the heat work, I refine the surface and give the ring a final polish.
Fit & Sizing
The wide front gives the ring presence, while the narrower back improves wearability. The interior is smoothly finished, so the ring sits comfortably on the hand.
