Bark Ring – Size 8.25 – Argentium Silver – Antique Finish
🌿 LIFE DESIGN
This ring grows through layers and heat. I build the surface by layering Argentium silver and fusing each section in place. Then I add and shape the material until a vertical bark pattern emerges. The process stays direct and intentional, guided by texture and balance.
Design & Feel
The vertical bark texture gives the ring strength and movement. The front feels sculptural, while the back narrows for comfort. Because I build the surface by hand, each ring carries natural variation. The antique finish deepens the texture and highlights the layered form. The result feels grounded, organic, and quietly strong.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This step increases hardness and slows tarnish. Afterward, I refine the form and apply the antique finish.
Antique Finish
Argentium 940 has a bright white tone, strong structure, and slower tarnish than traditional sterling. It is nickel-free and holds fine detail well. The antique finish is permanent and does not need polishing. A soft cloth is enough for care.
Fit & Sizing
The wide front creates presence, while the narrower back improves wearability. The interior is smoothly finished, so the ring sits comfortably on the hand.
