ammonite with bark and twigs pendant
One of the very beautiful Ammonite stones from Alberta, Canada. Â This Ammonite cabochon was cut freeform – and is 23.5 carats. Â I pondered over this stone for a long time – but I am very happy with this setting. Â Gently reminiscent of Japanese architecture – but the twigs pile pulls it back to nature.
The pendant is 4.0 cm long and 5.0 cm wide. Â It weighs 16.0 grams.
The sterling silver, 1.5mm Omega chain in the photo is included. Â It is 16″ long. Â I used tube bails to suspend the necklace – they are quite large and will accommodate most chains, or leather cords.
