Bark Pendant – Argentium Silver – Antique
I form this pendant in solid Argentium Silver 940. First, I carve and texture the surface to resemble natural bark. Then I refine the edges to maintain a clean vertical line. The surface holds organic depth, while the form remains structured. Finally, I apply an antique finish to both the pendant and the chain so they match.
Because the texture is cut deeply, the darker patina settles into the recesses. Therefore, the raised areas stand forward clearly. As a result, the surface feels layered and natural. Although the pendant is elongated, it remains balanced and wearable.

This pendant feels rooted and alive. The bark texture reflects growth and resilience. Meanwhile, the vertical shape suggests strength and upward movement. Because of the antique finish, contrast becomes more defined. It reflects the evolving energy of the LIFE collection.

I texture the silver deeply to create the bark effect. Then I refine the form and solder the bail securely. After heat-treating the piece to increase hardness and improve tarnish resistance, I deepen the antique finish to enhance contrast.
