Bark Ring – Size 9 – Argentium Silver
🌿 LIFE DESIGN
This ring forms from wire, heat, and pressure. I bend and hammer Argentium silver wire until it takes on an organic shape. Then I stack and fuse the wire into a solid strip that resembles silver bark. After shaping, I bend the bark into a band and fuse the ends together.
Design & Feel
The vertical bark texture gives the ring strength and movement. The front feels sculptural and expressive, while the back narrows for comfort. Because I shape and fuse each wire by hand, the surface stays natural and full of variation. The ring feels solid, grounded, and suitable for everyday wear.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This step increases hardness and slows tarnish. Afterward, I refine the surface and give the ring a final polish.
Fit & Sizing
The wide front creates presence, while the narrower back improves wearability. The interior is smoothly finished, so the ring sits comfortably on the hand.
