Beach Glass Earrings – Argentium Silver Prong Setting
These Beach Glass earrings reflect the WATER design group. Each piece features soft aqua-blue glass with a naturally frosted surface. I cut a solid sheet of Argentium silver to form the base. Then I solder individual prongs to secure the glass while keeping the edges open. This structure holds the beach glass firmly while allowing light to pass through. Handmade Argentium silver earwires are nickel-free.
Because the setting is open, light moves freely around the glass. Meanwhile, the prongs frame the shape without covering its natural texture. As the earrings shift, the aqua tone brightens and softens. Although secure and structured, the design remains fluid and luminous. These earrings are especially suited for beach weddings and destination celebrations.

Learn More (Making Process)
I cut and shape the silver base first. Then I solder each prong individually for balance and strength. After refining and polishing the structure, I secure the glass and assemble the earwires.
